OK, I watched it... honestly, there are a lot of talented guys on this show, and it seems a shame that so many of them will be going home after this. I know it's just the nature of competition that there will always be winners and losers, but it still makes me kinda TT TT TT I hope those that were cut will have other opportunities in the future, if they decide to keep on this path.
There were many more names revealed this episode, but really the two guys who stood out to me the most are the contestant who talked about having to adapt his singing due to developing vocal nodules and the guy who was last for the group choreo session but kept a good attitude and kept going until he passed. I'm a sucker for the hard workers who don't get rewarded in the end...hang in there, boys.
I'm kinda confused about how the online voting for this worked. What content had been aired in time for people to see it and vote? Only the Stamina section? Or were people casting votes online based just on online profiles of each contestant before broadcast began? They mentioned that one guy had moved up the ranks due to online voters, so I was curious how that came to be since I didn't recall him being featured much in the broadcast so far.
As the one pick bonus points at the end really shook up the results! It's crazy how people who were ranking middle-to-bottom could suddenly shoot up just because they caught one person's eye during one performance. In some ways, it kinda made the tests and such seem irrelevant because plenty of folks who had their name revealed didn't make the top 14. (And wow, that must have felt frustrating!) But I think also the masters had seen all of these guys throughout the day they were there; they likely already had a few people they were favoring (consciously or unconsciously) so they were naturally drawn to them during the performance.
